SWEATER WEATHER

 

I recently purchased some past collections during a HipKit Club sale. I could not be happier with the products. This Fall collection from 1-2 years ago is so darling. I had so much fun using all the cute icons from the kit on this page, especially the little hedgehog! 

The wood veneer and crocheted heart also added great texture to my page. The sweater weather die cut was perfect for documenting my daughter in her little pumpkin sweater. 

I miss those days when I could dress her in these cute clothes, hehe. I can't wait to make more fall pages with this kit!

Stash Busting Challenge with Simple Scrapper

Welcome back to my blog!

 Today we are working on a challenge for the Simple Scrapper community. 

This layout will be in the March issue of #sparkmagazine, a member's only publication. The community challenge is to make two or more layouts using the same collection. 

This is my first one using the Gingham Garden line from Crate paper.   When this was released I had to have the entire collection because it is so stunning. However, months have gone by and I still have not used any of it.  So when I heard about the challenge, it was the motivation I needed to pull these beautiful papers out of my stash.

I used this collection to make 3 layouts! I can't wait to show them to you. I love this particular one for its whimsical look. This is achieved with the different elements on the page like the vellum flowers, butterflies, and shabby chic layering of items.
